Scott Schoeller, 69, Lake Forest, IL

A 'Celebration of Life' Memorial in Scott's honor will be held at the family home in Lake Forest, Illinois on August 14th from 12pm-6pm.

Scott Franklin Schoeller, age 69, of Lake Forest, IL. passed away on July 24th 2022 in a fatal motorcycle accident.

Born and raised in Skokie, IL.to (late) Florence and (late) Fred Schoeller, brother to (late) Carolyn Schoeller, (late) Barry Schoeller, and Judy Fugate. Beloved husband to Mary Schoeller, and caring Father to Benjamin and Heidi Schoeller. Devoted animal lover to his two dogs Fresca and Moose.

Scott attended Cleveland Elementary school and graduated from Niles East High School. At 23 with just a car and a trailer, working out of a neighbors garage, Scott started Contour Landscaping in 1976. Today, Contour is based at 3501 Jarvis Ave in Skokie, where it has been for 46 years, and has approximately 30-35 employees. He is also part owner of Evanston Organics. Scott is past president of the Illinois Professional Lawn Care Association, Former Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture, Instructor for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and past Introduction Leader for Landmark Education, a personal and professional training/development Company. Scott was a 40 year member of the Skokie Chamber of Commerce, serving multiple years as a Board Member and the organization's current Board Chairman.

Making friends where ever he went; Scott lived life to the fullest with an exuberance of energy and a gentle, kind soul. He was a kid at heart while also a positive role model and mentor, touching the lives of many. He will be missed tremendously.
