This Saturday at Evanston Subaru in Skokie, is their annual Share the Love Party honoring two local Charities. Project HERO Chicago and Community Animal Rescue.
The event is held in the dealership’s showroom, this Saturday, December 12th, 11am-2pm. Project HERO Chicago is a cycling program that works with injured Veterans, and Community Animal Rescue Effort – C.A.R.E. helps place pets into loving homes throughout the area. The dealership is serving pizza and hot dogs from The Village Inn Pizzeria Sports Bar and Grill and all are invited.
The two charities are asking for donations. C.A.R.E. is requesting donations of pet supplies, like dog and cat food, soap, pet toys and anything pet related. Project HERO Chicago is asking anyone with a gently used road bike or recumbent to donate those for use by our healing Veterans within their cycling programs.
Remember, Subaru of America, Inc. is donating $250 for every new Subaru, sold or leased through January 2, 2016. Last year the two hometown charities, received $30,000 in donations from Subaru and matches from Evanston Subaru in Skokie.
