Skokie Caucus Party's Toy Drive Underway

Several drop-off locations for drive that will benefit the Niles Township Food Pantry through Dec. 11.

The Skokie Caucus Party’s second annual Holiday Toy Drive is underway.

The drive will benefit the Niles Township Food Pantry and run from Nov. 23 to Dec. 11.

Seventeen Skokie businesses and organizations participated in the 2015 Toy Drive, and more than 350 new, unwrapped toys, books, and games for children age 1-17 will be accepted at Annie’s Pancake House, Aww Yeah Comics, First Bank & Trust, Kids First, Moshe Klein & Associates, North Branch Yoga, Sander’s Family Restaurant, Skokie Ace Hardware, Skokie Club, Skokie Public Library, Oakton Market and Village Inn.

“Last year, the community really got behind this effort to help disadvantaged children in our own neighborhoods,” said Sean Arden, the Toy Drive’s committee chairman. “This year, with the help of our business partners, we are hoping to do even better.”
