Skokie Community Foundation now accepting 2024 grant applications
Submission deadline is September 6, 2023

Skokie Community Foundation (SCF) is accepting applications for 2024 grants through September 6, 2023. SCF seeks to fund proposals that meet a community need while making Skokie more inclusive. These proposals should also be scalable and sustainable. Proposals must show how two or more organizations will collaborate for the benefit of Skokie residents. One of the co-applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization, a school, or a government entity, or must have a fiscal sponsor that qualifies as a tax-exempt organization.
Preference will be given to proposals that directly address issues, concerns and/or opportunities for Skokie and its residents while creating a more inclusive community. Proposals should directly address how the project will benefit Skokie residents in areas of clearly identified needs. Proposals may request up to $15,000.
SCF intends to award a total of $25,000 in this grant cycle but reserves the right to diminish or expand the total amount of awards. Over the past three years, an average of $7,800 has been funded per grant. SCF has awarded more than $225,000 in grants since 2015.
