Skokie Man Accused of Robbing Target in Plainfield
32-year-old Antonio S. Epps is said to have gotten away with thousands of dollars worth of Apple products in a robbery last month.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A Skokie man has been charged in connection with a recent robbery at a Target store in southwest suburban Plainfield.
The Plainfield Police Department has arrested the man believed to be responsible for the recent robbery of a Plainfield Target.
Antonio S. Epps, 32, of the 4000 block of Main St., was arrested after a multi-agency investigation regarding multiple Target robberies, according to the Plainfield Police Department.

At 9:22 p.m. Aug. 28, Plainfield police responded to the Target located at 12800 Route 59 for a report of an armed robbery.
Officers met with Target employees who said that a man entered the store, went to the electronics counter, displayed a gun and ordered the clerk to open a locked cabinet. The man, believed to be Epps, made off with several thousand dollars worth of Apple products, police said.

Although the on-scene officers were unable to locate the suspect, they completed a thorough report including a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle. The case was then turned over to the investigations division.
On Sept. 22, the investigation resulted in the confession and arrest of Epps. He is currently being held at the Will County jail. His bail has been set at $500,000.
