Skokie Patch Honors Graduating Seniors In Class Of 2020: Part 3

This is the third installment of our salute to the graduating class of 2020 in Skokie.

SKOKIE, IL — Skokie Patch is sharing the achievements of local high school graduates by putting them in the spotlight this month. Due to the coronavirus, in-person classroom teaching and extracurricular gatherings have been canceled for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in Illinois.

We know these wonderful seniors are missing out on some of the last moments of the school year and we hope to give the community a way to share their pride in our class of 2020 high school graduates.

Here are some of the graduating high school seniors from the historic class of 2020:

Faieza Ahmed, Niles West High School

Ahmed, who plans to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago in the fall, graduated magna cum laude with senior honors from Niles West, according to her family.

Zack Thompson, Niles West High School

Thompson, who plans to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago in the fall, ran cross country and played baseball at Niles West, where he was also a member of the robotics and astronomy clubs.

Carlos Adrian Armas, Niles North High School

Armas, who intends to study criminology at DePaul University in the fall, played baseball and soccer for four years at Niles North, according to his family.

Stone Harris, Niles North High School

Harris plans to study special education at Oakton Community College, according to his family.

We know you will make the best of any situation you embark & are so very proud of the person you are today & are eager to see what lies ahead for you. Hannah Paul, Niles West High School

Paul, who intends to study art education at Illinois State University, was a member of the National Art Honor Society, as well as the graphic design and feminist clubs.

Remi-Angelei Dalangin, Niles North High School

Yaakov Rosenberg, Ida Crown Jewish Academy

Rosenberg, who plans to study at Yeshiva University, was an Illinios State Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and the basketball team and the co-captain of the cross country team at Ida Crown.

Kelly Zervos, Niles North High School

Zervos, who intends to pursue a chemistry major and pre-medical track at Loyola University Chicago, was the vice president of the Hellenic Club, an Illinois State Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year volleyball player at Niles North.
