Skokie Police Seek Man Who Robbed MB Financial Bank

The man left the Golf Road bank with an unknown amount of money on Wednesday.

Skokie police are still seeking an offender in a Wednesday bank robbery at MB Financial.

The offender, described as a black male with a dark complexion, large build and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, entered the bank at 4801 Golf Road at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday and put a note on the teller’s counter demanding money.

“No gun was displayed, but the offender kept one hand in his bag during the robbery,” police described in a news release.

The man, wearing a dark-colored baseball style hat with a “C” logo on the front, sunglasses, black short-sleeved t-shirt, dark pants and carrying a blue duffel bag at the time of the robbery, fled in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of money.

The same person is believed to be responsible for an attempted bank robbery the same day in Mount Prospect.
