Skokie Voters Approve $47 Million Referendum for New School
A new building will replace a 40-year-old structure in the East Prairie School District.

SKOKIE, IL - Voters in the East Prairie School District 73 in Skokie approved a $47 million bond issue to build a new school on Tuesday.
Unofficial tallies indicate the referendum question received an approval vote of about 65 percent, according to the Skokie Review.
District 73 consists of one one school for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The current building is more than 40 years old and takes up 92,000 square feet.
