Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center, a non-profit organization that provides affordable, outpatient mental health care services, hosted an exclusive event for their donors on Oct. 1, featuring State Sen. Daniel Biss (D-Evanston).

The event was the first one sponsored by Turning Point’s auxiliary membership organization, Solid Support, that is made up of individuals who have donated $300 or more per year to help Turning Point achieve its mission. Donations go to underwriting a portion of the costs for individual counseling, group therapy, emergency mental health services and more for unfunded clients who, without Turning Point’s help, would be denied necessary mental health services.
