Text Threatens To Send Sensitive Photo To Boss: Skokie Crimes

SKOKIE, IL — The following information comes from the Skokie Police Department as a record of those recently arrested. Readers are reminded an arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges represent merely accusations that are often dropped or reduced. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE, CANNABIS, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

A domestic battery was reported on Oct. 19 at 12:49 a.m. but no charges were filed.
IDENTITY THEFT

Someone used the personal information of a resident in the 8300 block of Tripp Avenue to open up credit card accounts.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
An incident of public indecency was reported on Oct. 20 at 5:15 p.m. in the 7000 block of Carpenter Road.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
Someone used a counterfeit $100 bill at Oberweis Dairy in the 4800 block of Dempster Street while unaware it was bogus.
ELECTRONIC HARASSMENT
Someone sent a text message to a Skokie resident threatening to share a sensitive photograph with resident's employer around 8:16 a.m. on Oct. 23.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
A scammer called a resident of the 3300 block of Lee Street claiming that the resident's grandson had been arrested, asking for money to bond out of jail.
IDENTITY THEFT
Someone used the personal information of a resident in the 4900 block of Carol Street to open an account between Sept. 29 and Oct. 24.
ARRESTS
James Pastore, 28, of the 800 block of Lincoln Street in Park Ridge, was arrested Oct. 20 at 3:43 a.m. in the 8300 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

Kimberly David, 23, of the 8600 block of Niles Center Road, was arrested on Oct. 20 at 6:17 a.m. in the 8700 block of Niles Center Road on an in-state warrant and also charged with resisting police.

Judy Glatz, 44, of the 7900 block of Lamon Avenue, was arrested Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. in the 7900 block of Niles Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance and issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Llovani Gomez, 27, of the 6100 block of North Albany Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on Oct. 21 at 2:15 p.m. in the 7600 block of Karlov Avenue and charged with criminal damage to property and reckless driving.

Shah Ahmeduddin Mohammed, 31, of the 4900 block of Hull Street, was arrested Oct. 23 at 9:51 p.m. in the 8400 block of McCormick Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of drugs.

Zaya Zaw, 23, of the 3400 block of South Hermitage Avenue in Chicago, was arrested Oct. 24 at 7:26 p.m. at Old Orchard Shopping Center and charged with theft of more than $500. (No photograph available.)
Anne M. Grimes, 46, of the 2100 block of Spruce Drive, was arrested Oct. 24 at 8:10 p.m. in the 2500 block of East Lake Drive and charged with disorderly conduct.

Yeshoua A. Weiss, 50, of the 8100 block of Hamlin Avenue, was arrested at his home on Oct. 25 at 5:23 p.m. on an in-state warrant.

Amie Chavez, 25, of the 1400 block of West Edgewater Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 Touhy Ave., and charged with theft.

Shaquita A. Gladney, 21, of the 400 block of North Avers Avenue, Chicago, was also arrested Oct. 26 at the 10 a.m. at the Skokie Walmart, 3626 Touhy Ave., and charged with theft.

Donjae Arielle Jasper, 26, of the 1500 block of West Jonquil Terrace, Chicago, was arrested Oct. 26 at 2:32 p.m. in the 1100 block of Loyola Avenue and charged with aggravated battery.

Renaldo Ratliff, 29, of the 700 block of Caryn Circle, South Holland, was arrested Oct. 26 at 3:07 p.m. in the 5000 block of Dempster Street and charged with identity theft and fraudulent identification, both felonies.

Davaasuren Jadamba, 30, of the 7200 block of West Higgins Road in Chicago, was arrested Oct. 26 at 10 p.m. in the 9600 block of Skokie Boulevard and charged with theft of less than $500.
