Village Of Skokie: New! Skokie Police Department Quarterly Beat Meetings

See the latest announcement from the Village of Skokie.

August 24, 2021

Beginning in late summer 2021, the Skokie Police Department’s Neighborhood Watch program transitioned from yearly Block Captain meetings to quarterly “Beat” meetings in public locations within each of the Village’s nine geographic beats (see map). Both permanent beat officers for each area, as well as Crime Prevention officers, will attend the meetings to provide a regular opportunity for residents and stakeholders of the Beats to interact with members of SPD who patrol their neighborhoods, exchange information, identify reoccurring problems and jointly develop solutions to those problems.
