Wednesday Blotter: Stolen Milk; Cabbie Bilked

Alleged Grab and Go at Abercrombie
Diaz Montez Cannida, 42, of the 1500 block of Fowler Street in Evanston, was charged with one felony count of retail theft on Jan. 7. Cannida allegedly stole a jacket valued at $162 from and ran out the store. Police were able to catch up with Cannida after the incident and found the said jacket on him, the report said.
Theft from auto

A car parked in the 60 block of Williamsburg Avenue was reported burglarized on Jan. 8. According to the report, the interior was rummaged through but no items were reported missing.

A second car parked in the 60 block of Williamsburg Avenue was reported burglarized on Jan. 8. According to the report, about $20 in loose change was stolen as well as two watches with a combined value of about $1,600.
Stolen milk
Police responded to a theft at , 4925 Dempster St., on Jan. 7. According to the report, Marie H. Richards, 40, of the 8600 block of St. Louis, grabbed a bottle of milk from the restaurant, took a sip of it and then proceeded outside to throw the milk bottle on the ground. Police told Richards that she could no longer come to the store, the report said. No charges were filed.
Cabbie bilked
A cab driver from American Taxi came into the Skokie police station to report a theft of services on Jan. 7. According to the report, a 25-year-old man ditched his $10 cab fare after being dropped off at
