Zumbathon Benefiting the Leukemia Research Foundation

Let it move you toward a cure. Zumba to fight blood cancers.

Zumba, the dance/fitness program that combines dance and aerobic moves with energetic Latin music to provide a healthy and fun workout, will add one more benefit on July 30. Zumba will support the fight to find a cure for blood cancers.

Zumbathon Benefiting the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF), hosted by the Jessica Shayne Magid “Chai” Chapter of the LRF, will take place on Sunday, July 30 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Skokie Banquet & Conference Center at Holiday Inn, 5300 W. Touhy Avenue in Skokie. The event will be run by two certified Zumba instructors and will include light refreshments, random prize giveaways, a silent auction, and fun for the entire family. A live DJ from A-Z Entertainment will provide music for the event. Family members who choose not to Zumba can still grab a bite and enjoy activities including the offerings at the Bar Louie inside the hotel, where 20% of all proceeds on July 30 will be donated to the LRF.

The registration for Zumbathon is $25 for adults and $15 for youth 15 years old and younger. More details are available on the Leukemia Research Foundation website at www.allbloodcancers.org/zumba-for-LRF.
