3 Officers Injured at Cook County Jail
Accused of attempted murder, inmate with a history of throwing urine and feces on jail staff needed to be subdued.

Chicago, IL - Three Cook County Sheriff's officers - including one sergeant - were injured Tuesday while escorting an inmate from court back to his holding cell.
The three suffered minor, non life-threatening injuries around 1:30 p.m., according to information from the Cook County Sheriff's Office.
The incident involved maximum security detainee Tacorey Killebrew, who has been in custody for two years on an attempted murder charge. The Sheriff's Office said Killebrew has been involved with 55 incidents related to assaults on jail staff, many of which involved him throwing urine and feces on officers.

On Tuesday, the three officers noticed Killebrew holding a bottle of liquid as they were returning him to his cell. They were all injured and taken to St. Anthony Hospital while trying to subdue him and prevent him from projecting the liquid.
One of the officers suffered a shoulder injury.
