Ald. Raymond Lopez Hosts Free 15th Ward Pet Health Fair, Sept. 24

First 400 dogs in line will receive free vaccinations and microchips, or schedule an appointment for free spaying or neutering.

Ald. Raymond Lopez (15th) is hosting a FREE pet health fair for dogs from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Davis Square Park, 4430 S Marshfield Ave. Services are being provided by One Tail At a Time Dog Rescue.

The pet health fair is first come, first served up to the first 400 dogs. Pooches will receive free rabies and distemper/parvo vaccine and free microchipping. Dog owners can also schedule free spay/neuter appointments for their dogs and learn about flea/tick preventives and more.

All dogs must be leashed. Dogs showing symptoms of respiratory illness will not be served. Also, aggressive dogs must be muzzled at all times during the fair.

The pet health fair is sponsored by Ald. Lopez, One Tail At A Time Dog Rescue, Chicago Community Pet Coalition and Alive Rescue.

The fair is open to 15th Ward residents only.
