CACC Waives Adoption Fees For Fuzzy ‘Dog And Kitty Gators’
Chicago Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees this weekend, July 20-July 21, for dogs and cats six months and older.

CHICAGO, IL — Chance the Snapper has left the Humboldt Park Lagoon, so how about strolling over to Chicago Animal Care and Control this weekend and adopt a fuzzy dog or kitty gator. “Camp CACC” will be waiving adoption fees for all dogs and cats six months or older on July 20-July 21 from noon to 6 p.m. Adoption fees for cats have also been waived throughout the month of July.
CACC has been taking dogs and cats non-stop into the already brimming shelter since the Fourth of July. Some pets have been in the shelter for over 60 days and would like to say “later, gator” to CACC and find forever homes. Chance the Snapper is also holed up at the shelter awaiting transport to an alligator sanctuary.
Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago. Keep up with CACC happenings on Facebook.
