Chicago Resident Scratches Instant Lotto Ticket for $250,000 Win

CHICAGO, IL -- A lifelong resident of Chicago scratch an Illinois Lottery Dazzling Dollar$ ticket and instantly won a top prize of $250,000. Ray Stallworth plans to share his windfall with his family.

Stallworth was at Citgo, 8106 S. Racine Ave., Chicago, when he bought his winning Dazzling Dollar$ ticket out of the lottery self-service dispensing machine. “I was walking past the machine when this ticket caught my eye, so I thought I should try it,” Stallworth told the Illinois Lottery people.
