Concealed-Carry Holder Shoots 13-Year-Old Breaking Into His Car: Cops
Chicago police said the man and boy were both armed. The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound in the leg.
CHICAGO — A concealed-carry holder shot a 13-year-old boy in Bronzville Sunday afternoon, who the man claimed was trying to break into his car, Chicago police said.
Around 2:35 p.m. in the 3700 block of Langley Avenue, police said the boy was trying to steal a KIA, when he was confronted by a 26-year-old man. The man took out a handgun and shot the boy, police said.
The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg. The man is being questioned. Police said he had a valid concealed carry license.

Officers recovered guns from the boy and the 26-year-old man. Detectives are investigating.
