Congressman Jackson Hosts Senior Resource Fair At The Kroc Center

Older residents can tap into free health screenings, Medicare/Medicaid help, and connect with resources Friday, Aug. 4, at the Kroc Center.

CHICAGO — Congressman Jonathan Jackson (IL-01) will host his first senior resource fair this Friday, Aug. 4. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kroc Center, 1250 W. 119th St., Chicago.

The fair is a day dedicated to older residents of Illinois’s 1st Congressional District and is designed as a community gathering to connect seniors with services with valuable resources and services that make life better, healthier and more enjoyable.

Attendees can take advantage of free health screenings, and discuss nutrition and wellness with certified experts. The congressman’s staff will be on hand to answer questions about social security, Medicare and Medicaid. Community organizations will also be there to connect attendees with services designed for older people.
