Dolton 149 Holds Back-to-School Carnival on August 26
Carnival will be held at Caroline Sibley Elementary School and runs from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

(Calumet City, IL) – Kicking off a new school year, Dolton School District 149 will hold its annual back-to-school carnival for the district’s students and families on Saturday, August 26.
The district’s carnival will be held at Caroline Sibley Elementary School and runs from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The district’s top administrator promises “fun” for students and their parents.

“Our annual back-to-school carnival is fun for the whole family,” said Dolton 149 Superintendent Dr. Shelly Davis-Jones. “While education is serious, we want to set a positive tone with students and associate fun with coming to school, making the new school year’s learning more enjoyable and easier.”
Carnival tickets, which can be purchased at the door on Saturday, are .25¢ each or five for $1.00.

Caroline Sibley is located at 1550 Sibley Boulevard in Calumet City.
The district’s more than 2,300 students returned to class on August 21.
