DUI Crackdown Planned in Chicago Lawn, Greater Grand Crossing
Increased patrols planned on the South Side on Friday, Saturday nights.
CHICAGO, IL - Chicago police announced Wednesday their DUI Strike Force Patrol will be out in full force this weekend on the South Side, focusing their efforts in Chicago Lawn and the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Increased patrols in Chicago Lawn will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 13 and end at 3 a.m.
The patrol will move to Greater Grand Crossing the following night from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Both times, the CPD will have a breath alcohol testing device handy to speed up the process of charging an offender with a DUI.
