Lexington Homes Starts Sales, Opens Decorated Model for Lexington Square 4 Rowhomes in Chicago’s Bridgeport Neighborhood
Lexington Homes has kicked off sales for Lexington Square 4, a community of 21 rowhomes in Bridgeport

Chicago-based Lexington Homes has kicked off sales for Lexington Square 4 by opening a fully decorated model at the community of 21 rowhomes in Chicago’s popular Bridgeport neighborhood.
Since entering the Bridgeport community in 2009 Lexington has built more than 100 single-family homes and rowhomes in the area and has no plans to slow down given Bridgeport’s recent accolades as a popular Chicago neighborhood for homebuyers.
“When we decided to build in Bridgeport, we felt the neighborhood was like a hidden gem that hadn’t been discovered,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Chicago-based Lexington Homes. “Well now, the secret is out. I like to think we had something to do with helping Bridgeport’s transformation over the past seven years, by creating a family-friendly enclave of new-construction homes that have drawn couples and families looking to move up from their West Loop or South Loop condo/apartment. As the families continue to move in, a growing number of retailers and restaurateurs are following them.”

Located on Morgan Street, just south of West 37th Street, Lexington Square 4 offers the same two popular floor plans that were built at Lexington Square, Lexington Square 2 and Lexington Square 3, the builder’s three earlier rowhome phases, all of which are sold out. Base-priced from the $409,990 the rowhomes range in size from 2,216 to 2,507 square feet.
The maintenance-free homes at Lexington Square 4 come standard with three bedrooms, 2½ baths, large eat-in kitchens, spacious great rooms, rooftop decks and attached two-car garages. Options are available for up to four bedrooms and three full baths, as well as an additional half bath on the lower level.

Showcasing The Buckingham floor plan, the decorated model features modern designs and rich colors displayed throughout the home, including dark brown kitchen cabinets and hardwood flooring with gray undertones that pair nicely with matte slate colored appliances. The sleek gray tones are carried throughout the main living area and are incorporated in a stunning floor-to-ceiling limestone fireplace offering the perfect spot for a large flat-screen TV.
“Lexington is always at the forefront of featuring new elements of functionality and style,” said Benach. “This new model does a fantastic job in illustrating the variety of features and finishes buyers can choose from to make their home one-of-a-kind.”
Ultra-stylish and space-saving solutions like sliding barn doors are prominently featured in the decorated model rowhome at Lexington Square 4. The sliding barn doors, painted to match the other interior doors in the model, are available as an upgrade to create a fashionable statement in the master bathroom or the entry of the optional fourth bedroom on the lower level of the home.
“Interested buyers who come to see the decorated model home at Lexington Square 4 are blown away by the impeccable interiors as well as the amount of living space,” said Benach. “Designed to live more like a single-family home, the floor plan offers extra functional and flexible living areas, plus an abundance of outdoor private spaces, including a rooftop deck, fenced-in front yard and a balcony off the kitchen, perfect for growing families.”
Buyers at Lexington Square 4 can choose from two plans – The Buckingham, which measures 2,507 square feet, and The Grant, which measures 2,216 square feet. Both rowhomes feature open main floor layouts with a great room, eat-in kitchen, powder room and laundry. Upstairs, each rowhome consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master suite complete with an attached bath and walk-in closet. The lower level of each rowhome features a family room with the option to add a full or half bath and convert the family room to a fourth bedroom. Buyers also have the option to add a fireplace to the living room and in The Grant, the kitchen island can be expanded to include a breakfast bar that accommodates seating for four.
Standard features include granite countertops, GE stainless steel appliances and 42-inch upper cabinets in the kitchen; hardwood flooring throughout the main level; and raised-height vanities with granite or marble countertops in all baths.
“Since Lexington Square 4 is our fourth rowhome community in this particular area of Bridgeport, buyers will be able to benefit from the tight-knit community that has formed among the Lexington Square residents over the years,” said Benach. “Plus, the community is just minutes away from U.S. Cellular Field, the renowned Zhou B Art Center, as well as popular restaurants and boutiques, such as The Duck Inn, Gio’s Mexican Food, Marz Community Brewing and The Jackalope Coffee and Tea House.”
The development is also located 15 minutes from downtown Chicago with convenient access to Interstates 90/94 and 55, providing a quick commute to Midway International Airport.
