Bulls forward Jabari Parker as well as Marian Catholic's Sister Mary Jo Sobieck threw out the ceremonial pitch at Sox game on Saturday

Thousands of Chicago White Sox fans and Chicago Cub fans attended the Crosstown Series September 21st-23rd at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Chicago Cubs won the series winning two games out of three. The Chicago White Sox promotional team provided great entertainment for the fans.

Recently retired Chicago Bears legend Matt Forte threw out a ceremonial first pitch on Friday, September 21. The two-time Pro Bowl running back joined NBC Sports in May as a studio analyst for the 2018 NFL season.

Chicago Bulls Forward Jabari Parker as well as Marian Catholic High School theology teacher Sister Mary Jo Sobieck, threw out ceremonial first pitches on Saturday, September 22. Sister Mary Jo gave pointers to Jabari before throwing out the first pitch.

Cast members from Showtime’s hit series “The Chi” attended the game on Sunday, September 23. “The Chi” actor Barton Fitzpatrick threw out a ceremonial first pitch. Also throwing out a ceremonial first pitch was actor from NBC’s hit show “Chicago P.D.” and Harvey, Illinois, native LaRoyce Hawkins. Hawkins plays the character Kevin Atwater on the popular fictional crime drama that follows District 21 of the Chicago Police Department. Cast members from “Chicago P.D.” as well as “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago Med” attended the game.

The Sox held a Split raffle, presented by Wintrust, at Saturday’s game began at guaranteed jackpot of $50,000, with 50 percent of net proceeds going to one lucky winner and the remainder supporting Chicago White Sox Charities. The final home game for the Chicago White Sox will be Wednesday, September 26th. The Chicago Cubs continue their season in October.
