Pregnant Woman and Man Stabbed in South Side Apartment Building: Cops

Chicago, IL -- A man and woman were both stabbed early Monday morning in an apartment building in the city’s Scottsdale neighborhood.

The stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. in the third story unit of apartment building in the 8000 block of South Pulaski Road.
Two men and two women were reportedly inside the apartment.

The 25-year-old woman was stabbed in the hand and drove herself to Advocate Christ Medical Center, She was five months pregnant, according to her mother and sister.
The 23-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Advocate Christ with a stab wound to the neck.
A suspect is in custody, according to a police source.
