Purse Snatcher Caught On Video During Broad Daylight
Watch here as a man targets a woman walking out from under a viaduct at 26th and Stewart in the middle of the day.

CHICAGO, IL - A bold purse snatcher was caught on a surveillance video during the peak of daylight hours last week on the South Side. Chicago police are hoping someone watching can identify the man or car involved in the strong armed robbery.
As shown in the video below, the man approaches the female victim from behind, grabs her purse and knocks her to the ground in the process. He runs toward a silver four-door car with a rear spoiler, possibly a Chevrolet Cobalt.
The man wore all black and covered his face during the robbery, reported at 3 p.m. on June 2. He approached the woman as she was walking out from under a viaduct at 26th Street and Stewart Avenue, where the Armour Square neighborhood borders Chinatown.
