South Shore Line Service Suspended
Overhead wire damage has been reported near the Hegewisch station of the Chicago-Northwest Indiana commuter line.

CHICAGO, IL - Service has been suspended on the Northwest Indiana Commuter Transportation District's South Shore Line in both directions after overhead wire damage was reported near the Hegewisch station on the city's Southeast Side.
Mike Pries reported the news via CBS-Chicago Traffic. The South Shore has not listed anything official on its website, but confirmed the news by retweeting reports.
Metra will honor South Shore tickets until the line is restored.
