WATCH: Chance the Rapper Unveils His New Halloween-Themed Kit Kat Commercial

VIDEO: The South Side hip-hop artist not only stars in the ad, he came up with the concept and wrote the jingle, too.

Chance the Rapper is a bit of a renaissance man. Besides building a successful hip-hop career, the South Side native also has been an outspoken activist against gun violence in Chicago and has even designed his own Chicago White Sox caps.

Now add TV ad man to his résumé.

On Tuesday, Chance debuted his new Halloween-themed Kit Kat commercial. Not only does he star in the ad, he also pitched the concept to the candy bar company and wrote the jingle.

The rapper plays dual roles in the ad: his life-size self dressed in a lion costume and a crooning face — called Chance the Wrapper — on a package of Kit Kat. Chance and Kit Kat posted the video on Twitter on Tuesday.

Recently, Chance was invited to perform at this year's White House tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 1.
