One hundred Chicago-area kids got a free haircut and school supplies at "Cuts for Kids," a back-to-school event hosted by Tim Anderson.

CHICAGO, IL - Dozens of Chicago-area kids got free haircuts and school supplies at an event hosted by Chicago White Sox infielder Tim Anderson. Anderson and his wife, Bria held the event, "Cuts for Kids," Friday at Success Barber Salon in the city's Bronzeville neighborhood.
“Cuts for Kids” is an event held in conjunction with the Andersons’ League of Leaders program that focuses on building character among youth and supports the Youth Guidance’s Becoming a Man program, according to a press release from the White Sox.
Last month, the Andersons held a similar event in Anderson's home town of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
