• Unexpected power outage in Springfield (wandtv.com) — Thousands of Springfield residents are without power this evening after an outage affecting areas near the Old Jacksonville and Durkin substations, with more than 7,000 customers impacted. City Water, Light and Power crews and Springfield firefighters are on scene, investigating a reported transformer fire and working to isolate and reduce the outage area.
