Thankful for Representative Rodney Davis

November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month and National Family Caregivers Month. With more than 6 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer’s, including 230,000 in Illinois, this offers us an important reminder to focus on those who have been touched by this disease. As a volunteer advocate with the Alzheimer’s Association, I understand the power of sharing my story to influence change, especially having multiple family members and friends who have suffered with and been impacted by this terrible disease.

It has been a pleasure working with Representative Rodney Davis over the past several years, because he understands the deleterious effects and sequence of events that ravage families due to Alzheimer’s Disease. Representative Davis has been a steadfast supporter of Alzheimer’s Association-driven legislation to improve the lives of those with dementia and their caregivers.
