Lily renovated and advocated improvements for Staunton Fireman’s Park bathrooms, while Vivienne created a children’s book and kindness initiative that brings deaf awareness and sign language into Staunton schools and libraries.
   

• City Of Staunton Hires Officers And Dispatchers (stauntonstartimes.com) — Staunton’s City Council has hired three new full-time police officers and five part-time dispatchers while also advancing major street, parking lot, and Route 66 park projects. Council members approved road material purchases, set hearings on a business district change, backed upcoming hospital celebrations, and reminded officials to file Economic Interest Statements by May 1.
   

• Boys Track Takes Second At Home Invitational (stauntonstartimes.com) — Staunton High’s boys track team turned in a big week, taking second at their home Bulldogs vs. Cancer invitational while racking up five wins and eight personal records. The Bulldogs also claimed multiple victories at a quad meet in Southwestern, with standout performances in hurdles, relays, and jumps from Lucas Dillon, Braylen Brown, Evan Tanner, and teammates.
