1 Killed In West Chicago Crash

WEST CHICAGO, IL —A 25-year-old West Chicago man is dead after a pick-up truck collided head-on with his car Thursday night, authorities said. The collision happened on the Fabyan Parkway curve about 8:39 p.m. when a Ford F-150 crossed the center line and hit the man's Nissan four-door head on.

The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene, the Daily Herald reports. A passenger was taken to Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage in Winfield with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
