A Book Drive that Changes Lives & Winter Wonderland, Saturday January 18th

The Goddard School located at 200 N. Tyler Rd in St Charles will be holding a “Winter Wonderland, Book Donation-Collection and Open House” on Saturday January 18th from 10am to noon.

It is the penultimate event in a month long book drive by The Goddard School located in St Charles, and the other 17 Chicagoland Goddard Schools, working in collaboration with Bernie’s Book Bank (http://www.berniesbookbank.org/) to collect Twenty Five Thousand new and/or gently used children’s books to help increase Book Ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children in the Chicagoland area.  The St Charles Goddard School’s goal is to collect Fifteen Hundred childrens’ books before the January 18th event!  They have collected close to 1300 books thus far, and are inviting the community to join them in their effort and to attend the event and bring a book to help the school reach its goal.  Additionally, the eighteen Chicagoland Goddard Schools will be donating $10,000 to Bernie’s Book Bank.

The Goddard School's OPEN HOUSE on January 18th, from 10am - Noon will include many fun family activities including a Storytelling, Create Your Own Book, Face Paining and of course refreshments. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about The Goddard School in St Charles. New families who would like to enroll at our OPEN HOUSE event will receive 1 MONTH FREE TUITION!
