Large Police, Fire Presence Along Fox River In St. Charles: Officials

St. Charles police and fire personnel are currently on scene in the 100 block of North 2nd Street near the Fox River Wednesday morning, officials said.

Authorities are reporting a large presence in the area but emphasize there is no threat to the public. Officials are asking residents to avoid the area if possible while crews remain on scene, according to a post on the St. Charles Facebook page.
