Lou Malnati’s Coming To St. Charles This Fall, Hiring 100 Workers

ST. CHARLES, IL — Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is coming to St. Charles this fall, bringing its 71st location and 100 new jobs to the city.

The Chicago-style pizza chain is opening a 6,200-square-foot restaurant at 3050 E. Main St. and is now hiring for all positions, including bartenders, servers, cooks and phone staff. Applicants of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, according to Lou Malnati's.

Because the restaurant is still under construction, Lou Malnati's will hold walk-in interviews at the Courtyard by Marriott St. Charles, 700 Courtyard Drive. Hiring managers will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Sept. 14 through Oct. 2. Signs at the hotel will direct applicants to the banquet room where interviews will take place.

Candidates should bring proof of authorization to work in the United States and a resume, if applicable. Interviews outside the regular hours also can be arranged by request.

"Lou Malnati's is growing and expanding in the Chicagoland area, and St. Charles is the next exciting step," CEO Julie Younglove-Webb said in a statement.

The restaurant offers paid training, free employee meals and other workplace benefits. Lou Malnati's also said it has been named a Chicago Tribune Top 100 Place to Work for 16 consecutive years and a National Top Workplace for six years.

The St. Charles restaurant will feature a full-service dining room and bar, private dining room, carryout, delivery and catering. Its menu will include the chain's signature deep-dish pizza, along with thin-crust and gluten-free options, appetizers, salads, pastas and desserts.

Lou Malnati's opened its first restaurant in Lincolnwood in 1971 and has since expanded to more than 60 locations throughout the Chicago area.
