• St. Charles Electric Christmas Parade Seeks Entries For Holiday Celebration (patch.com) — St. Charles groups and businesses are invited to apply now to join this year's Electric Christmas Parade, a highlight of the city's two-day Holiday Homecoming celebration downtown. The Thanksgiving weekend festivities include a lighting ceremony, free holiday movie at the Arcada Theatre, Santa visits, and the illuminated parade along Main Street. Applications, fees, and insurance documents are due by Nov. 6.

(shawlocal.com) — High school football fans in St. Charles can see both East and North still fighting for postseason spots under the expanded IHSA playoff format.
