City of St. Charles Leaf Pickup Program Begins Oct. 26

The City of St. Charles leaf collection program will take place from Oct. 26 to Dec. 1. The complete leaf collection schedule and program details can be found on the City’s website, www.stcharlesil.gov/services/leaf.

Please remember to rake leaves on the parkway, NOT into the street. Piling leaves in the street can clog storm drains, cause localized flooding, and make the roadway slippery for cars, bikes, and pedestrians.

As an alternative, residents may put leaves in yard waste bags, which will be collected by Veolia Environmental Services on normal collection days through Nov. 30. Please contact the Public Works Office at 630-377-4405 with questions.
