Annual St. Charles Mock Trial Tournament Is Saturday
Event starts at 8 a.m. and runs to 2 p.m. at St. Charles North High School.

The annual St. Charles Mock Trial Tournament runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at the Kane County Judicial Center, according to a release from St. Charles Community Unit School District 303.
Hosted by St. Charles East and St. Charles North high schools, the tournament will feature 14 teams from suburban schools from Kane, Lake and DuPage counties.
This year's litigation is a criminal case, People v. Norton, in which the defendant is accused of theft of Abraham Lincoln photographs, the release said.

Circuit judges from Kane County will preside over the trials, and trial lawyers from the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Kane County Bar Association will serve as evaluators in the trials, the release said.
