An independent audit of St. Charles East High School athletics and baseball activities funds did not find any fraudulent transactions, according to a quick review of the results released Wednesday afternoon.
The audit, conducted by Klein, Hall and Associates, examined funds within the programs from May 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
A complaint from a community member had alleged an internal theft of money within the school. St. Charles police also had been contacted about the allegation.
