Burglar Breaks Through Wall of Salon, Steals Cash: VIDEO

The burglary occurred at Eddie Caruso Hair Salon​ Sunday night. Police are looking for a suspect.

ST. CHARLES, IL - St. Charles police are asking for the public's help as they try to track down a burglar who broke through the wall of a salon and stole money and Apple iPod Touch, police said Wednesday.

Officers were called to Eddie Caruso Hair Salon, 2400 E. Main Street #109, Monday morning when an employee showed up to work and discovered evidence from the burglary, according to a news release.

Police said the burglar gained entry to the salon by entering a vacant business next door and breaking through the drywall between the two businesses at about 11:25 p.m. Sunday.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from Eddie Caruso Hair Salon as well as Simply Crystal Hair Salon, which rents space inside the business, according to police.
