The Doo Wop Project is America’s premier group dedicated to preserving and expanding the genre of this great music we know and love, Doo Wop! This supergroup features some of the world’s most talented performers from Broadway and beyond. With a hit PBS Special airing all over the country, five albums streaming on all major music platforms, and over ten years of playing sold out shows all over the country and the world, chances are you’ve already heard DWP and are a fan, if not, you’re in the right place! Featuring stars from the Broadway shows Jersey Boys, Motown, Beautiful and Hairspray, DWP is inspired by inner city African American vocal groups like The Del Vikings, The Marcels, The Tymes and later The Four Seasons. DWP captures and delivers the classic sounds of the guys who, back in the day, harmonized with each other on stoops, in the subway, and on street corners.
