City of St. Charles 2012 Leaf Pickup Program Coming to a Close

St. Charles’s last leaf pickup for 2012 will be the week of Nov. 27, and residents should check the schedule online for your last collection day on the city’s website at www.stcharlesil.gov.

Please remember to rake leaves on the parkway, not into the street.  Piling leaves in the street can clog storm drains, causing localized flooding, and make the roadway slippery for cars, bikes, and pedestrians.

As an alternative, residents may put leaves in yard waste bags, which will be collected by Veolia Environmental Services on normal collection days through Nov. 28. Please contact the Public Works Office at 630-377-4405 with questions.
