City Reminds St. Charles of Trash Day Rules

St. Charles ordinance sets the times earliest time to take the trash out, and the latest to bring in the containers.

The city of St. Charles reminds residents that refuse and recycling should be placed on the street for collection no earlier than 7 p.m. on the day before your scheduled pickup. Empty containers should be removed from the curb no later than 7 p.m. on the day of collection.


This will help minimize blowing garbage and cans on streets and around neighborhoods.
