Deadline Extended to Apply for Flood Recovery Assistance

FEMA has extended its registration deadline to July 24 for those whose homes were damaged in the April-May flooding.

Those whose homes were damaged during the April-May flooding have until July 24 to register with FEMA to learn whether or not you qualify for federal assistance — even if you have flood insurance or are renting, according to the city of St. Charles’ website.

The city has a Flood Recovery page to assist victims of the flooding.

Additional information is available through the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362/(TTY) 800-462-7585, or at the federal government’s DisasterAssistance.gov website.
