School's out again, but only for a long weekend.

District 303 students have the day off today, but that won't stop the celebration of all things "Senior" at St. Charles North tonight.

2. St. Charles classes are cancelled today due to a teacher institute day. Normal class schedules resume on Sept. 6.
Also, will celebrate seniors and their parents before the varsity football game against Plainfield Central tonight. Senior members of the Marching North Stars, cheer, drill team and color guard will also be honored. Parents should assemble at the south end of the field at 6.30 p.m. The football game starts at 7:30 p.m. at North Star Stadium.
3. As long as there's no school today, why not stop by the for Family Gaming from 10 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.? Drop in and play board and/or video games on Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360 with Kinect.
Students in third through eighth grades may attend without an adult. Show your St. Charles Library card at the door.

5. Fun Fact: September marks National Papaya Month. While papayas aren't indigenous to the Fox Valley area, they are imported and you can find them at most produce markets. Papayas are a delicious tropical fruit and their enzymes are used in skin care products and cosmetics.
