The Park Forest Art Fair is the second oldest juried art fair in Chicagoland. The 56th Annual Art Fair will be held on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18 from 10 to 5 in Downtown Park Forest, adjacent to Village Hall. Artists participating in the fair will travel from as far awy as California and New Hampshire. Artworks will represent a variety of media from painting, print-making, pastels and photography to ceramics, jewelry, wood, glass and fiber arts. On Saturday, the Village will host a music fest will musical groups performing jazz, pop and blues. On Sunday, fest favorite Patchouli will perform all day. There are many activities for children including an art contest and tie dying. While visiting the fair, stop in the Tall Grass Gallery to see an exhibit by Tall Grass artists.
