
Come enjoy the Fox Valley Orchestra and the Fox Valley Orchestra Chorus as they present A Baroque Christmas concert at Aurora University’s Crimi Auditorium, 347 S. Gladstone Ave.
The Fox Valley Orchestra Chorus, directed by Dr. Lisa Fredenburgh, will join the Fox Valley Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Colin Holman, to celebrate the season with holiday music.
“Baroque music is joyous and celebratory,” Holman said.

The program includes the beautiful Gloria in D Major by Vivaldi and the renowned Hallelujah Chorus for Handel’s Messiah.
In addition, the concert features viola soloist, Allison Zabelin, in the Viola Concerto in G Major by Telemann. Zabelin, an Aurora native, recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Zablin teaches orchestra and general music in the West Chicago Community School system.

Tickets may be purchased online, at the door and also at Gregory Sapp Violins on Sard Avenue and Kirhofer Sports on Galena Blvd. in Aurora.
