Meet Alice Ozma, author of The Reading Promise: My Father and the Books We Shared, on Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. in the Carnegie Community Room.
Hear Alice share her story of the promise she made with her father, an elementary school librarian, when she was in fourth grade - to read aloud together for 100 nights. They continued their "streak" until the day Alice entered college, eight years or 3,218 nights later. This promise changed their lives so profoundly that Alice has made a commitment to spread the word about reading and the importance of making a reading promise in your family.
Great for the entire family! Drop in and start your own reading promise!
