Birding Basics

Late winter is a great time to learn how to identify birds! The first portion of this class will be indoors, to learn key points of what to look and listen for. Then outdoors to check out what birds are here and if any migratory species have returned from the south. Participants may bring binoculars and a field guide if they have them; we will also have binoculars available to borrow. Classes are offered in partnership with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County, Geneva Park District and Fox Valley Park District.
