Midwest Dachshund Rescue (MWDR.org) will once again be holding Wiener Races at ScarecrowFest in St. Charles on Saturday Oct. 8th, at 1:00pm.

Lil' Smokies--under two years old
Frankfurters--2 - 8 years old
Senior Sausages--9 and over
Great Prizes including Sox ticket vouchers, Sox t-shirts and collectibles, Boarding and Grooming from Kountry Pet Resort and Training Center in Elgin, and $100 gift certificate for services at Gateway Vet Clinic in St. Charles, plus every dog who enters will get a participation prize. $5.00 per dog entry fee goes directly to Midwest Dachshund Rescue. Midwest Dachshund Rescue will also have a booth at the Canine Corner all weekend, come visit with our foster dogs and ask us about adopting or fostering! The Canine Corner will be located in the grassy lot across from the parking garage on 1st street.
